# Canary vs Laddrr

The clearest difference is rating: Canary at 4.7 against Laddrr's 1.0. Canary also leads on ratings volume (420 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Canary sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Laddrr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Canary holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canary has 420 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Canary ships an update weekly, Laddrr every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
