# Remedy vs Mode Zero

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remedy at 100% against Mode Zero's 67%. Mode Zero's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remedy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Mode Zero sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mode Zero holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Remedy's written reviews are positive against 67% of Mode Zero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remedy ships an update fortnightly, Mode Zero every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
