# WickCares vs Valid

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WickCares at none against Valid's 1. WickCares also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). Valid's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and chart position (#13 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Valid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.49 per 7 days. WickCares asks for nothing beyond the download.

WickCares holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Valid has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WickCares ships an update every 5 days, Valid every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
