# NovaLing vs OnBook

The clearest difference is update cadence: OnBook at every 5 days against NovaLing's fortnightly. NovaLing's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NovaLing sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and OnBook sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NovaLing ships an update fortnightly, OnBook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
