# Ewé vs Kava TV

The clearest difference is rating: Ewé at 4.0 against Kava TV's 3.3. Kava TV's advantage is ratings volume (120 vs 2) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ewé holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kava TV has 120 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Ewé's written reviews are positive against 8% of Kava TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ewé ships an update monthly, Kava TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
