# The Tasks App vs Bytmark

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bytmark at every 5 days against The Tasks App's every 2 months. Bytmark also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Tasks App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bytmark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Tasks App ships an update every 2 months, Bytmark every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
