# PhotoTask vs Lokmi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lokmi at every 5 days against PhotoTask's fortnightly. On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhotoTask sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Lokmi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PhotoTask against 5.0 for Lokmi. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively.

PhotoTask ships an update fortnightly, Lokmi every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
