# Bible Mode vs Pray First

The clearest difference is ads: Bible Mode at none against Pray First's shown. Bible Mode also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 25) and chart position (#167 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Mode sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Pray First sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bible Mode against 4.8 for Pray First. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Mode has 13K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bible Mode ships an update every 2 weeks, Pray First fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
