# MeetingNote vs Nōtare

The clearest difference is ads: Nōtare at none against MeetingNote's shown. MeetingNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeetingNote sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Nōtare sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MeetingNote against 5.0 for Nōtare. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeetingNote has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MeetingNote ships an update every 3 days, Nōtare every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
