# GatewayVPN vs Vless VPN

The clearest difference is rating: GatewayVPN at 5.0 against Vless VPN's 3.9. GatewayVPN also leads on ads (none vs shown). Vless VPN's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GatewayVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Vless VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GatewayVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vless VPN has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GatewayVPN ships an update every 5 weeks, Vless VPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
