# Infrared Camera Finder vs CribVision

The clearest difference is rating: CribVision at 5.0 against Infrared Camera Finder's 4.6. CribVision also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Infrared Camera Finder's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infrared Camera Finder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CribVision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CribVision holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infrared Camera Finder has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Infrared Camera Finder ships an update every 2 months, CribVision every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
