# Remote+ Android TV vs Splitty

The clearest difference is ads: Remote+ Android TV at none against Splitty's shown. Splitty's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote+ Android TV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Splitty sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote+ Android TV ships an update fortnightly, Splitty every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
