# Sweet Catcher vs PocketClawMachine

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PocketClawMachine at none against Sweet Catcher's 1. PocketClawMachine also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 70%) and ratings volume (52 vs 7). Sweet Catcher's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sweet Catcher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PocketClawMachine asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sweet Catcher holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PocketClawMachine has 52 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Sweet Catcher's written reviews are positive against 91% of PocketClawMachine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sweet Catcher ships an update every 4 days, PocketClawMachine every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
