# Setuply vs DayTrace

The clearest difference is rating: DayTrace at 4.5 against Setuply's 3.5. DayTrace also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). Setuply's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Setuply sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DayTrace sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayTrace holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayTrace has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Setuply's written reviews are positive against 86% of DayTrace's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Setuply ships an update every 3 days, DayTrace every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
