# Fasty vs Libre Fasting

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Libre Fasting at none against Fasty's 3. Libre Fasting also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). Fasty's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasty sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Libre Fasting asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fasty holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fasty has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fasty ships an update every 9 months, Libre Fasting every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
