# Spell Drops vs Quarc

The clearest difference is ads: Quarc at none against Spell Drops's shown. Quarc also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 3). Spell Drops's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spell Drops sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Quarc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Spell Drops against 4.9 for Quarc. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quarc has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
