# Accountable vs Sobi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Accountable at free with in-app purchases against Sobi's subscription. Sobi's advantage is ratings volume (228 vs 18) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accountable sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Sobi sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sobi holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sobi has 228 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Accountable ships an update weekly, Sobi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
