# Multipass Events vs SunForecast

The clearest difference is rating: Multipass Events at 5.0 against SunForecast's 1.0. Multipass Events also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). SunForecast's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SunForecast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Multipass Events asks for nothing beyond the download.

Multipass Events holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Multipass Events has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Multipass Events ships an update every 2 months, SunForecast every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
