# Bro vs DÆR

The clearest difference is rating: DÆR at 5.0 against Bro's 3.7. DÆR also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Bro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DÆR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DÆR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bro ships an update every 2 days, DÆR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
