# Brainrot vs BrainScroller

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BrainScroller at 63% against Brainrot's 18%. BrainScroller also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and device support (3 vs 1). Brainrot's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (23K vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainrot sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and BrainScroller sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brainrot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainrot has 23K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Brainrot's written reviews are positive against 63% of BrainScroller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brainrot ships an update every 6 days, BrainScroller every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
