# Brainrot vs Halo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Halo at 100% against Brainrot's 18%. Halo also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Brainrot's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainrot sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Halo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Halo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainrot has 23K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Brainrot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Halo's.

Brainrot ships an update every 6 days, Halo every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
