# Brainrot vs FocusLapse

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FocusLapse at 100% against Brainrot's 18%. FocusLapse also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Brainrot's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. FocusLapse asks for nothing beyond the download.

FocusLapse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainrot has 23K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Brainrot's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusLapse's.

Brainrot ships an update every 6 days, FocusLapse fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
