# Brainrot vs Flash Color

The clearest difference is rating: Brainrot at 4.5 against Flash Color's 1.0. Brainrot also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Flash Color's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Flash Color sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brainrot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainrot has 23K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Brainrot's written reviews are positive against 0% of Flash Color's.

Brainrot ships an update weekly, Flash Color every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
