# Cinext vs ReelStack

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cinext at none against ReelStack's 1. ReelStack's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReelStack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cinext asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Cinext against 5.0 for ReelStack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReelStack has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Cinext ships an update every 3 weeks, ReelStack every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
