# Card Crawl 2 vs Dawnfolk

The clearest difference is ads: Dawnfolk at none against Card Crawl 2's shown. Dawnfolk also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (75% vs 52%). Card Crawl 2's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (420 vs 51). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Card Crawl 2 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Dawnfolk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Card Crawl 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Card Crawl 2 has 420 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Card Crawl 2's written reviews are positive against 75% of Dawnfolk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Card Crawl 2 ships an update weekly, Dawnfolk every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
