# The Yellow App vs Dianetics

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dianetics at every 3 days against The Yellow App's monthly. Dianetics also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Yellow App ships an update monthly, Dianetics every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
