# Mechanic vs Nitro Apex

The clearest difference is ads: Mechanic at none against Nitro Apex's shown. Nitro Apex's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mechanic sells 32 one-off in-app purchases and Nitro Apex sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mechanic ships an update fortnightly, Nitro Apex every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
