# SigmaNote vs Bubbly Thoughts

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bubbly Thoughts at every 3 days against SigmaNote's weekly. Bubbly Thoughts also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SigmaNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Bubbly Thoughts sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SigmaNote against 5.0 for Bubbly Thoughts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubbly Thoughts has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SigmaNote ships an update weekly, Bubbly Thoughts every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
