# GitWise vs AdmitRaven

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GitWise at none against AdmitRaven's 6. GitWise also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). AdmitRaven's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AdmitRaven sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. GitWise asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for GitWise against 5.0 for AdmitRaven. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AdmitRaven has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
