# WaveNoter vs Notee

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Notee at 5K against WaveNoter's 2. Notee also leads on chart position (#74 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WaveNoter sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per month and Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WaveNoter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WaveNoter ships an update every 2 weeks, Notee weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
