# Plus 1 vs THRD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: THRD at none against Plus 1's 5. THRD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Plus 1's advantage is ratings volume (139 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plus 1 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. THRD asks for nothing beyond the download.

THRD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plus 1 has 139 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Plus 1's written reviews are positive against 100% of THRD's.

Plus 1 ships an update weekly, THRD every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
