# Liryo vs Folio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Folio at every 4 days against Liryo's every 3 weeks. Liryo's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liryo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Folio sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Liryo ships an update every 3 weeks, Folio every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
