# Backgammon Premium vs Tavla Rivals

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tavla Rivals at every 4 days against Backgammon Premium's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon Premium sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Tavla Rivals sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Premium ships an update every 4 weeks, Tavla Rivals every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
