# Reset Connect vs SCI Verification

The clearest difference is update cadence: SCI Verification at every 4 days against Reset Connect's every 2 months. SCI Verification also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reset Connect ships an update every 2 months, SCI Verification every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
