# expense tracker vs SplitEx

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitEx at every 2 weeks against expense tracker's every 2 months. SplitEx also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. expense tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SplitEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
