# Ghostr vs Viceless

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ghostr at 100% against Viceless's 50%. Ghostr also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Viceless's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viceless sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Ghostr asks for nothing beyond the download.

Viceless holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Viceless has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Ghostr's written reviews are positive against 50% of Viceless's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ghostr ships an update every 5 days, Viceless fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
