# Span.lol vs Makaron

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Span.lol at 9 against Makaron's 1. Makaron's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Span.lol sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Makaron sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Span.lol against 5.0 for Makaron. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Span.lol has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Span.lol ships an update every 3 days, Makaron every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
