# Brainblast vs Proll

Brainblast and Proll both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Proll's written reviews are positive against 61% of Brainblast's. Proll also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Brainblast's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (579 vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainblast sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Proll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proll holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainblast has 579 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Brainblast's written reviews are positive against 100% of Proll's.

Brainblast ships an update every 3 days, Proll every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
