# iXnote vs Resurface

The clearest difference is update cadence: Resurface at every 5 days against iXnote's every 11 days. Resurface also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iXnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Resurface sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iXnote ships an update every 11 days, Resurface every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
