# Promptly vs Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Promptly at every 4 days against Tasks's every 2 weeks. Promptly also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Promptly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Promptly ships an update every 4 days, Tasks every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
