# Fleximax vs MateDrive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fleximax at none against MateDrive's 3. Fleximax also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). MateDrive's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MateDrive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Fleximax asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fleximax ships an update every 3 weeks, MateDrive every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
