# Vigor vs Step Counter

The clearest difference is ads: Vigor at none against Step Counter's shown. Step Counter's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vigor ships an update every 3 months, Step Counter every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
