# Vigor vs Steps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Steps at every 2 days against Vigor's every 3 months. Vigor's advantage is iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vigor ships an update every 3 months, Steps every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
