# Vigor vs StepNova

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vigor at none against StepNova's 6. StepNova's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepNova sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Vigor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vigor ships an update every 3 months, StepNova every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
