# MapPic vs PicMap

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MapPic at 18.0 against PicMap's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapPic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and PicMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
