# REDTV vs Nova Drama

The clearest difference is ads: REDTV at none against Nova Drama's shown. REDTV also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Nova Drama's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (9.9K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for REDTV against 4.9 for Nova Drama. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nova Drama has 9.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

REDTV ships an update every 8 months, Nova Drama every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
