# 4get vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 4get at none against Countdown's 2. 4get also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. 4get asks for nothing beyond the download.

4get ships an update every 4 months, Countdown every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
