# 4get vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 4get at none against Countdown's 1. 4get also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 4get asks for nothing beyond the download.

4get ships an update every 3 months, Countdown every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
