# Study vs Cardly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Study at every 3 days against Cardly's every 2 months. Cardly's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Cardly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study ships an update every 3 days, Cardly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
