# Magic Square vs Verbérie

The clearest difference is rating: Verbérie at 5.0 against Magic Square's 4.0. Verbérie also leads on ads (none vs shown). Magic Square's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Square sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Verbérie sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Verbérie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Square has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Magic Square ships an update weekly, Verbérie every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
